Lesley Morris - DENTIST
Dr. Lesley Morris is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry (with Honors) 2005, and also completed her dental residency at Harvard University/Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston 2006. After several years of working in Boston, Dr. Morris returned to her native Toronto to practice General and Family Dentistry where she has been practicing for the last 10 years.
Dr. Morris brings her compassion, professionalism and knowledge to Seaton Place Dental. She gets incredible personal satisfaction in helping anxious patients become more comfortable in her dental chair – she loves to see them smile when they are done with their appointment! She takes the time to get to know each patient and makes sure their needs are heard so that she can help them achieve their desired outcome.
In addition, Dr. Morris continues to place an emphasis on continuing education in all aspects of dentistry as part of her commitment to providing her patients with the best possible care with advanced techniques. Dr. Morris is excited to provide general, cosmetic and restorative dental care with a personal touch.
When she is not at the office, Dr. Morris can be found spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys cooking and entertaining for friends and family and stays active by running, doing yoga and cycling.
Vanessa - Hygienist
Vanessa was born and raised in Canada, though carries an Italian heritage. She has studied in Toronto, but she is currently living within Vaughan.
Vanessa began her dental journey in 2009 when she attended a Dental Assisting program at Medix school.
Vanessa graduated in 2010 as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, with Dean's Honours. She has worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for six years now. Her enthusiasm and passion for dentistry saw her return to school to further her education.
Vanessa shortly attended George Brown College from 2014-2016 to complete the Dental Hygiene Program. She once more graduated with Dean's Honours and received a scholarship. After passing the Dental Hygiene National Board Examination, she then obtained her registration to practice. Vanessa has now been practicing Dental Hygiene for more than 4 years.
Vanessa’s strongest motivation in being a dental hygienist is the fact that every day she is aware of the impact she has made in the world, even if it is one tooth at a time.
Not a day goes by on the job that she doesn’t feel like she has helped someone. You will find that Vanessa is passionate about her career, compassionate, able to put her patients at ease and ensure a positive dental experience. Vanessa loves her career as a dental hygienist and considers all of her patients like family. She goes above and beyond to explain how to maintain optimal oral health and the prevention of disease, proving her dedication to her work.
In Vanessa’s spare time, she is often found, and adores being with her family and dog, shopping and staying fit by going for long walks.
Maha - Lead Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
Maha graduated as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant from CDI College in 2006 and has worked as an expanded function dental assistant ever since. She has a real passion for the field of dentistry and takes great pride in her work. She brings a high level of energy and commitment to Seaton Place Dental as well as unprecedented compassion to her patients. She has a magic way of being able to provide the highest quality of care while still making her patients feel relaxed in the chair providing an amazing patient experience. In addition, she will always take the time to educate her patient’s about their treatment every step of the way in order to make their visit pleasant with very little stress.
Maha is a mother of three children and enjoys spending each and every moment with them. In her spare time, she likes to cook and bake and all the yummies her family craves. When not running after the kids, she enjoys outdoor activities and socializing with her friends.
